Inside Out - Intentional Environments Both Inside & Out

Join Diamond for an inspiring day talking about indoor and outdoor learning environments. You will be inspired to consider the intentionality of your spaces, consider how children play with intentionality and how to support risky play. Diamond also runs a Nature Preschool and will share about this. We will go way beyond 'going outside for a run' in our outdoor learning spaces and cover programs and design. 

We will explore:

- How to design a well-rounded outdoor curriculum and why this is important 

- Challenges of shared outdoor spaces and how we can overcome these 

- Key Learning Areas in the spaces indoors and out 

- Risky play and the benefits of this 

- Loose Parts Play 

- EYLF V2.0 Principles and practices in the learning envrionment 

We will research, unlearn and relearn.
