Mandy Karriem is a practiced early childhood professional with over three decades of invaluable experience in different roles within the sector. Using her Diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Management, Mandy has established herself as a leader and innovator in the field.

For the past 34 years, Mandy has dedicated her career to nurturing and enriching the lives of young children. Her journey began with hands-on experience in various early education settings, honing her skills and deepening her understanding of child development.

For the last twelve years Mandy has served as a community-based Director. In this role, she demonstrates exemplary leadership, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises the wellbeing and growth of her team, the children and their families. Prior to this, Mandy founded, owned, and successfully operated her own long day care service for seven years, where she implemented her unique vision and philosophy. Her dedication to providing high-quality care and education earned her recognition and respect within the community.

Mandy is particularly passionate about the Reggio Emilia pedagogy and educational philosophy as well as nature play. She believes in creating environments that inspire curiosity, creativity, and exploration, allowing children to learn and thrive naturally.
