A day in the life of an educator - back to basics (Online)

Sometimes it's good to revisit our 'old school' practices and think about what we might have set aside and could bring back. In this session I am excited to explore some of the things we used to do that seem to be a 'lost art' and consider if they could be revitalised in a new world space. We will dicsuss rituals, routines, how we can avoid crowd control by taking charge. We will explore the value of using puppets, singing, and facilitating intentional group times. We will chat about how we can make mealtimes more enjoyable for everyone, how we can ensure that our rest time routines follow the needs of the children and how we can create intrigue by introducing interesting topics to explore with children.
